I wouldn't get a whole new rifle just for an accutrigger. An accutrigger is basically just an OK FACTORY trigger, it is a piece of crap compared to good aftermarket triggers.

Stevens Upgrade

I would personally get a custom barrel, new stock, trigger and slap it all together before buying a factory savage. End up with a pretty decent rifle for cheap.

Especially since you already have the Stevens. Buy a hundred custom barrel, hundred triger, stock. So for hundred you could have an entry level semi custom precision rifle. If you go the new stock Savage route you would be getting a worse trigger, stock and barrel comparatively to the upgraded Stevens option for roughly the same price.

Stevens stock and detachable Mag?
