There were lots of exciting stalls and great things to The market is really nice if you're looking for some handmade presents or just interesting snacks. Not really big but absolutely nice. There were lots of exciting stalls and great things to buy, but everywhere was very busy! Stallholders were generally friendly and there were some great samples to try as well as excellent produce to buy. Held on a Sunday, the market is a wonderful place to visit for good produce and freshly prepared food from a variety of global cuisines.

Everything from organic meats to Scottish cheese and Spanish olives Just don't mind so it. A highlight for us is a trip to Edinburgh with a visit to the market. Great atmosphere and brilliant food. Too many street Food outlets and not enough room for the farmers etc.

Totally inappropriate location amongst trees. Went here last sunday Amazing array of fresh foods, jams and meats, fish, veg etc We bought pies from Pie Not Best weve ever eaten anywhere in the world Also bought some fresh italian meats and cheese Absolutely divine.

Cant wait to go again on The paella stand is amazing.

We had a chicken one and an "arroz de marisco"- lovely. The ajoaceite is homemade! Stockbridge Sunday Market packs an awful lot into a very small space. It's a great place to wander around and sample some of the fantastic food for sale.

Reviewed March 23, Great wee Sunday Market. Reviewed March 20, via mobile. Go with an empty stomach! Great Market to Visit. Some second-hand shops cling on, but mostly residents display refined tastes in basement A pleasant ten-minute walk away, along a leafy riverside path beside the gurgling Water of Leith, lies Dean Village. This sleepy neighborhood of medieval half-timbered houses still retains much of the village feel it had when watermills plied their trade here.

Beyond, the wooded riverside path feels even more remote as it climbs to the sculpture gardens of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Is the market open during the week or only on the weekend? Our trip is only from Tuesday to Friday and we would love to go to a market at some point. Response from Beth B Property representative. Hello, sorry we are only open on Sunday, every Sunday all year round BUT only Sunday's: Are you open on Sun 27th this year?

We open at 10am and close at 5pm, open every Sunday all year round.
