I met Emily awhile back at the BHLDN launch event and loved spending time getting to know her those few days.

She really is just as lovely as you would imagine her to be and it was fun getting to chat about weddings since she had just gotten engaged. In fact, she actually tried on her first wedding gown this lovely BLHDN dress while we were there and looked so gorgeous in it! A bit about the inspiration behind her day from Emily: The inspiration for the day was simply to throw a great party for our friends and family.

I know that almost sounds overly simplistic, but that truly was the most important thing to us. We let the location, a turn of the century mansion in Northern California, set the tone that was very elegant, but rustic. The walk down the aisle.

I purposefully didn't look around seeing my friends would have made me emotional! Have fun and don't get too caught up in the details. Then all of the other little details don't seem as critical.

How stunning and insanely beautiful!! This is so so beautiful. Fab setting and I absolutely love her dress. Oh I love Cupcakes and Cashmere! What a gorgeous wedding! That heart shaped lawn is to die for! What a perfect spot to tie the knot.
